What is its Purpose? Responsible for College

I guess students at colleges should have their own responsible to have experience of their lives at college and knowledge of their lives. They learn to live by themselves and earn something that they deserve for if they work hard for it.

Arguments:

Fish, Stanley-
Strong Points:
"do your job; don't try to do someone else's job, as you are unlikely to be qualified; don't try to do someone else do your job." (That could be some point for students...)
Encourage the students to go out and get any job.
The responsibilities: meeting classes, keeping up in the discipline, assigning and correcting papers, opening up new areas of scholarship, and so on...

Weak Points:
"Marx famously said that our job is not to interpret the world, but to change it." (How can it explain to his point?)
"believe that all activities are inherently political, and an injunction to avoid politics is meaningless and futile." (Didn't make sense.)
No one seemed care about what the students' responsible citizenship and moral behavior in college or university.

Eggers, Dave-
Strong Points:
Decide for time off while college.
Encourages the students to think of go out and work or have fun by volunteering.
"America would gain 60 million volunteer hours to invigorate the nation's nonprofit organizations, churches, job corps, conservation groups, and college outreach programs." That would show the students to involve some wonderful activities.

Weak Points:
Dave reasoned with his story with playing foosball at university.
Used a World War II veteran with educated things.
